Re: Sore Diaphragm?

I'm gonna get a vest sooner or later...It seems I am weighted a bit heavy for the usual 20 to 30 foot depth when spearfishing. But it is nice to just drop in after only finning down about 10 feet.

I recently took 2 pounds off my weight belt...Since I have lost about 40 pounds in the last 6 months! That extra 2 pounds was making breath-ups less relaxing. Now I'm good with about twelve pounds - & I could go a little less I think.

I want to lose 30 more! Yeah....I WAS a fat ass! Thanks to my new found love of freediving/spearfishing I am losing the weight and eating right. There are NO SUCH THINGS AS DIETS....It is a lifestyle change...It's THE ONLY way to lose weight & keep it off in my opinion.

I'm no longer sore but I will be diving ALL day tomorrow...See the "Wisconsin freediver's & spearo's" page and click on oct.13 - We Wisconsin freshwater guys are a pretty active bunch...I love it! I have'nt gotten out in a week! So I'm over due for a good long day of spearfishing/freediving!

Thanks guys...Will get me a vest when money permits it! I personally think it may be from possibly overfilling my lungs all day long with super deep inhalations before a dive. But yes...The weights DO make my back hurt also!
