Malaysia, Indonesia & Philippines

Hi,
I'm hoping to go travelling around Malaysia, Indonesia & Philippines at the start of next year, and I hope to be focusing a great deal of my time on freediving and spending it in, on or under the water. I would love to here from anyone who lives or who has spent some time in these contries as I would like to learn about and visit local spots and the quieter areas. I have just started to research in to my trip so anyone with any information will to talk to me would be greatly apprecaited

Hi,

I am going to the Philippines in June and I plan on doing some snorkeling and freediving. The place I am going to is Moalboal on the Island of Cebu. There is a PADI 5 Star dive shop there, here is there website: http://www.savedra.com/

It seems this area has gotten really popular with divers because of the spectacular House Reef and Steep drop off to 40m-50m.

I can't wait to go there!

Thanks for your replies, I think I will definately try to make a trip to Danau Mananjau, it sounds so beautiful and peaceful. I've been busy working recently so I haven't had much time to do much research on plalces to go, but I will post my ideas when I have them, just incase someone else is planning a trip in the future.
