Actually, I remember from the April 2004 PFI course I took, (courtesy of DB), there was a gorgeous spearfisherwoman - intelligent, beautiful and nice to top it off, who put her prospective boyfriends through her particular test when they visited her home for the first time. She would let them see her in all her gory (yes, gory, not glory!
) They would first have to pass all the heaps of spearguns lying around, and if that didn't shake them, they would follow her into the kitchen to help gut and scale the huge fish she caught. As far as I know, she's still single, so it does seem to be an added plus for your peace of mind Jim, to teach you daughter to spearfish.
