Thanks to everyone for the best wishes
. Having a birthday on a Saturday has been great as it has turned into a 2-day celebration. Yesterday was quite quiet and today is more of a family day. At my age there aren't many surprises, at least present wise, although I'm always grateful for the thought people put in. However 11am yesterday morning the posty arrives with a large padded envelope. So we did the usual. Poked it with a stick, put it in the bath etc. Eventually decided it wasn't a "special" from pupils in 11E and opened it. Wow! A card and a pressy from the Dorset boys, via Glowworm. Couldn't have been more apt, (see pic). Boys I am touched. Well you knew that. No I mean I am overwhelmed. That's so kind  . Thanks again to all my mates on DB. Health and happiness to you all. Dave

Even later have a great one Dave and tight lines and heavy stringer for the rest of the year ( when the vis clears, which it didn't look like it has today!) p.s. great t-shirt.
Jimdoe, they also give it to men in old folks homes - to stop them rolling out of bed!!
