What's with the moderators on this site?

[Lino 1]

I have sent e-mails asking why I am not able to use the username (Lino) and I get no replies at all.
I have looked and there is no username (Lino) but there are users with username containing only 4 letters so I don't see the problem with my username unless it means something nasty in another language.
Can anyone figure this problem out?

Lino_1,

Please try and be polite when asking questions - I know you can feel frustrated waiting but all the staff here are volunteers (including me) and sometimes it takes time to look into issues.

Username wise there is another lino in the system from about a year ago. They have not fully activated the account but are definitely in there so hence why you could not get the Lino username.

Hope that clears it up.
