I heard the UK will adopt the EU standards and start driving on the right side too now. However, such an important change cannot be done without preparation and too abruptly, hence after starting with the new standard, it will be permitted to drive on both sides (better told on any side) of the road during 5 years, before the EU standard will be fully enforced.

They drive like that in Jamaica already aswell. I asked which side of the road they should drive and the bloke said 'anywhere there is no car heading straight for me'
Sounds sensible to me.

I also asked did it ever rain in Jamaica and he said 'no, only liquid sun'

Thats what they said about speaking English. But we are a stubborn bunch

It makes going on holiday easy, the rest of the world has to learn English so i can order pie and chips. I think us Brits should simply start driving on the left abroad and then everyone would have to.
