Yeah, this is an underwater based website... but hey, I fish above water too, so I was just wondering what is your guys favorite thing to fish above water.
Mine personally is carp. I've been involved in a tournament in Central Wisconsin called the Carp Classic. Very fun time and we've even won it (in one category or another) for 7 of the last 8 years. Not last year though  Carp fishing is just a blast too me.

Carp and catfish. I personally hate fishing for hours for bass, muskie, and pike and maybe catching one or two for a semi decent fight and a nice trophy here and there. Carp tho. there are so many of them and they will always put up a fight. better than most large game fish. But still after going spearfishing to regular fishing its like driving a lambo and then buying a geo. not a lot of fun and doesnt make sense

Trolling and Ulua fishing. The later is fishing for Giant Trevally a.k.a Ulua. Its fun fishing/camping. We use super heavy gear as the Ulua here get over 100lbs (from shore) and are probably one of the hardest fighting fish there are. 80lb mainline with 250lb leaders. They will take a live bait up to 5lbs!
Its actually more an excuse to get away from our girlfriends and get really drunk  ...but once and a while we get lucky!
