Very new to Freediving, I attend the monarch club with Dave King in Brighton/Hove. This is very much a club, as opposed to a training course/school.
Looking for advice on a beginners training routine to improve both static & dynamic with fins. Static PB: 2:15 Dynamic PB: 45m in a 25m pool with rubbish fins. I swim 20 mins, 5 days a week in the morning at my gym... no diving buddy there as yet.. but working on it. also looking at taking up a weekly yoga class. I probably have about 1/2 hour at lunch and 1/2 hour in evenings for practice. Can anyone suggest what to do and when? Tables, Walking apnea, empty lung apnea, dry statics.... there is a lot to take in and I'm not sure where to start? I will be asking Dave at the club the same questions, but as with so many things in this sport there are many opinions to consider. All help welcome |

im new too... and i found if you just breath deeply and relax for about 5 min, i can hold my breath almost 2 min without difficulty... (my personal record is 2min 43 sec...) but im only 14, so u shud be able to manage more... your lung capacity is prolly WAAY more than mine...
