South West Endland -Devon Spearfishing

Hi,

I'm interested in taking up Spearfishing in teh South West of England. Is there anywhere I can find a list of fish I am likely to encounter and more specifically what I can legally hunt?

I want to eat what I catch so tasty fish only!

Is there a website with this sort of info?

That's a good way to start You can legally shoot any fish except game fish (salmon, trout etc) I think the best fish to target are Bass, Mullet, Pollack and a decent flatty. Hi Spiderman,

I live in far East Devon in Seaton. Are you from Devon too?

I live in Taunton and tend to head for East Devon or Torbay. Sidmouth is a favourite as it is the shortest drive for me and a fairly good spot for mullet in the summer.
