I did some looking today on knots, like the double and triple surgeon. I stumbled on the blood knot loop. I like the size of it. I think I may re-shoot the wishbone video.
An interesting note on Dyneema. I was watching "Future Weapons" (I love that show) and they were talking about making armor for a Zodiac. Steel is to heavy of course. They said Dyneema is the strongest synthetic fiber. I did not know this. They made plates out of the stuff. They shot a 1/4" steel plate with a 7.62x39 round and it penetrated. They shot the Dyneema plate and it just deformed it, did not penatrate and it broke up the round. So I guess if I'm getting shot at I can stop the bullets with this cord! (kidding of course) Last edited by ILDiver; July 8th, 2008 at 04:58. |

another good trick to getting wish bones or beeds in the hose is to dip the end of the rubber in hot water for a couple min. help the rubber to strech better and when it cools no harm is done to the bands.... and using spray helps even more, I've even used pam cooking spray but if u want to use some other kind of cooking spray should spray some old bands and make sure they don't eat away at the rubber!!!!!
