I've been trying to get some information on RIFFE fins but they dont seem too popular on this forum. I have a pair of Cressi Gara LDs and I love them for cruising on top and shallow dives but I'm looking for something a little bit stiffer for deeper dives. Any one have any experience with Riffe silent hunter fins?

I just bought a pair of Riffe longblades. I like them alot. I previously had the Cressi Gara 3000 and the foot pockets on the riffes are not quite as comfortable but Im getting used to them. I like the stiffness too. Not too stiff so surface swimming is a breeze, but stiff enough for some deeper diving. Im hitting 100 ft spearing and they work really well. The channels on the blades are a little different too. If you plan on doing shallow diving or diving holes i wouldnt recommend the riffes as movement from side to side is difficult.
Mind you, I only have the Garas to compare them too.

Sounds good, I love my garas and would still use them on shallower dives but the info you gave me on the Riffes makes me think they are good for what I want them for.

I think Riffe fins used to be the same as JB Esclapez or Omer fins - only a different color (blue). I know that Riffe had a known manufacturer make them....someone give me a hand.
That was the last I knew - 2004.
