Hit the water for the first time in a loong while this evening. Surprisingly, the water felt warmer than the autumn air outside and it was nice and clear - that's at least a good thing when summer ends in these parts. Vis must have been around 10m, but I clambered in at dusk. Anyway, near the end of the swim I met an eel minding his business and turning towards me when he noticed me.  - Don't we love freediving for not scaring everyone we meet away.
