Dived today at another new for me site, just after low tide. Current was running fairly hard and water was a bit sloppy but viz was Ok. and got better the further I swam, think the tide was bringing in clear water. Anyway heard a few bass and saw a couple of glimmers of silver on the edge of the viz (3m at its best) Was ready to quit when I spotted one in some Japweed it was an absoloute hog, at least 7lb but I drifted half past it and at first mistook it for a wrasse! Anyway short of it is I fluffed the shot and missed it. Got out after that, nice site but again no fish!
