spearo shop in san diego bay?

Hey guys I will be in san diego for a day around the naval training in the bay. Are there any spearfishing shops around the area? Or good scuba shops?

I have heard people mention James & Joseph dive shop in that area but I have never been myself. Try getting intouch with Bill McIntyre on Deeper Blue.

good luck

As someone mentioned - James & Joseph. They are on Harbor Island Drive (right near the airport). They are primarily a sailing/boating supply store but have a very good selection of Freedive gear and strong supporters of local San Diego Freedive events.

San Diego's premier free dive shop!

Re: spearo shop in san diego bay?

Hey guys thanks for the help. While I was there I did find a little shop that was packed with great stuff!

OEX! He had a good selection on Sea Sniper guns, Cressi and Omer fins. Along with accessories he carries fishing kayaks! Real cool stuff for fishing and spearfishing!

The gentleman I met was Brent and was really helpful fillin' me in on the local flavor of the sport and some of the players.

Thanks again Brent!
