If anyone is driving from Nor Cal or Oregon, I'll split gas with you. I checked airline prices and they're an average of about 450 US. Out of my comfortable price range.
Do you have to have a passport to get into Canada yet? Cheers

I just looked it up and you will have to have a passport to go to Canada and Mexico after December 31, 2006 at 12am. So, no, passports arn't required but it is highly recommended that you bring a birth certificate or an expired or valid passport.
If you'd like more info go to http://www.cbp.gov/xp/cgov/travel/va...entary_req.xml

Sven you're an evil man!
I talked to the owner of the campsite today on a quick email: he's on the road for a week. After that we'll talk and I will get all the info we need. Erik Y.

Yeah, but I have references.
And in the tradition of the Keyz Kraze, let the smack talking begin... "I went into the neighborhood bookstore looking for a copy of "Idiots Guide to Speaking Canadian. All the guy at the counter said was, Eh?"

Wow, that list is much bigger than I anticipated! Great stuff. Be awesome to see some new faces to the area and this should make for some great stories. Maybe there will even be the odd DeeperBlue article following the adventure.
Look forward to it... hope some of you southerners can make it (people below the belt...49th that is). I think our igloos will have melted by then, so you will only get to see our teepees. |

Wrong country, wrong cuisine and the only horns are airbrushed on the 27 that I won't be bringing. But if you happen to have a few HP's w/DIN valves, I could show you all how it's done. And the granola is appreciated. It'll go well with my non fat latte. ![]()

Perhaps I could dust of the old Underwood and find some ribbon somewhere for the occasion. Sven, our Canadian crabs are the kind you want to have! Don't even ask about our banana slugs..... This is turning into a freediving block party! Pete
