south of Cancun? Puerto Aventuras area

I'm going to the riveira maya soon and I'm wondering about bringing my speargun along and if anyone here knows about spearing off the coast.. maybe someone knows of a dive shop in the area that might be of help.. any info is appreciated.

spearfishing is banned in the Cancun reef area, if you still want to spearfish, you have to contact a bluewater trip, to get huge cudas and cobias. You better bring up your own speargun though.
