Technically:
FI pro/cons: FI takes less oxygen per second but takes more seconds per dive, compared to CW. Therefore on the average depths achieved with FI are not substantially deeper than in CW. Yet there is one advantage in FI: With your head right side up equalization becomes easier. Equalization: Make sure You master Equalization. Most Deep Dive-attempts are getting aborted because of failure to equalize. Dynamic Training: Build up confidence with dynamic training. For example, If You do 50m dynamic in the pool You can try -25m Constant Weight with some confidence. Socially: Buddies: (IF You can !) find good and reliable buddies that know how to motivate each other. Friendship and Camaraderie should not be underestimated. It's kind of a paradox: Freediving is an individual sport that You cannot do without the help of others. And don't forget: You need plenty of Humor

Quote:
Yes one can do freediving alone, , but no matter how much I love this sport it aint worth doing alone. To have a buddy/buddys with the same dedication to freediving is the best way to do freediving. Dive long and prosper, or was it live long and prosper....
