Forums Upgraded

We have just upgraded the forums to the latest version of the software we run (vbulletin 3.5.2 for you geeks out there).

We have a few new features in place but we may have lost some functionality whilst upgrading. If you see something out of place or if you see missing/broken things please post in this thread!

Mozilla Firefox user here, Ive been IE free for 2 years now and haven't felt tempted.... hehehe

Smilies don't work, as in I click on them and they dont appear in the text window when posting. Same with the "More" link to get the full smily list. I can click all I want, theres no popup window.

I just tried to open the suport deeper blue link in user cp and it wont let me join, it says i do not have suficient privilages to enter???? please advise how i can join DB ,

Stephan, have you taken the chat off until the bugs are worked out? I can't see the chat link at all.

This has been fixed - some minor templating issues that pointed to an old file. You should be able to access the Supporter options now!

Shadowkiller - i'm having trouble replicating this issue - can you let me know more detail of what version of FireFox you are using and what Message Editor interface you are using (you can find this in UserCP > Edit Options)

If this may be of help, I'm using FireFox 1.5 and the standart editor and those features (press on smilies+popup window) work for me.

Also - we are working on improving some of the "behind the scenes" functionality to improve our rankings on the search engines. You may see some minor changes over the next few days in things such as page titles, the URL's to forum pages (that's the http:// thing at the top of the page) and such like. This should not impact functionality.

I don't know is it just me, but automatic login doesn't work anymore. Even if I select the "remember me" option, I always have to login again.

The same thing happened on another forum that recently updated their software...Maybe it's a common bug?
