Sitewide Downtime - Sunday 13th April

I am attempting to move the whole site to a new server this weekend so you may experience the odd outage on the forums, gallery, news and main site during the course of today.

I will attempt to keep outages to a minimum.

Ah, I thought the latest version of vBulletin would be installed on the new server. That's the v3.6.9 that contains 159 fixed bugs from the v3.6.8 we currently have. Well, it is not too bad, it still works pretty well, but it might have solve some problems.

In any case - i'm not upgrading to 3.6.9 because they've just announced 3.7 is coming out next week.

No problem, I just thought that you won't want to make another update just after installing a new server. But if you do not mind doing it in several steps all is good

This actually wasn't a simple move - moving to a completely new host running a completely different flavour of linux and way of controlling the server so been a bit mad just trying to get the main bits moved over and working.

Still battling with a few problems - always fun over a weekend.

Right - I think we are getting there folks.
