hello all,
I have a week set aside for a spearfishing trip in september or october. My initial plan was going to tenerife or one of the other canary islands. After doing some research it seems the regulations there are a hassle and there can be a hostile attitude towards spearos. They do seem to have great diving and lots of big fish though.
Alternatives that I have come up with are the azores, madeira or malta.
What I'm looking for is a place with alot of big fish in clear waters accessible from shore dives where people like spearos. Very original. Any experiences, advice, pros or cons will be greatly appreciated.
