I am looking for spearfishing buddy. I am living in Bratislava (Slovak Republic, formely Czechoslovakia). I am 35 year old, started with spearfishing in August 2004.
I would like to find somebody with similar interests, buddy for spearfishing trips preferrable to Croatia, Greece, but maybe also elsewhere.

hi , did you find any spearo partners in Bratislava? my wife is from Bytca and I had been asking on both trips there so far I have taken if spearfishing is legal there. I never was able to get an answer from anybody.

I saw some carp that i would like to spear and know that there are bigger fish there as well but I cant seem to get any answers. i ended up doing some spearfishing in croatia when we drove there from bytca but the fish were small since i had to dive from shore in makarska and the largest one was maybe 8 inches long.

what are the laws for spearing in SK?

As far as I know, any kind of spearfishing is illegal in SK.

But you can join us for some freedive training when you will be around Bratislava.

that sounds like a lot of fun. i can always chase fish with my camera instead. i cant wait to go again next year to go mushroom picking. i got hooked on this each time i went. man, i would love to do it each day.
