Hi.
I am planning a year off from my studies and would like to spend that time in a warm lovely country with good diving. Problem is, i am not yet really sure where to go.. (a delicious problem I want to find a club/person(s) which 1) dive often (at least twice a week, and also in winter) and 2) dive deep (i am currently stuck at 30-40 meters due to equalization problems, but i would like to do 60 some day). My two main choices right now is France (i would love to learn french, such a beautiful language!) and Egypt (Dahab, warm water and nice people). I have tried to get in contact with CIPA in Nice, but not recieved any respons to my emails.. Any frenchmen on this forum who can tell me a little more of how often CIPA dives, if they like guests, and other details? Or know of other clubs in france that dive deep and often? And my big dream is to go to Hawaii (both freediving AND surfing!! heaven!), but i am not sure about the immigration rules.. Is the state of hawaii as hard on foreigners as mainland usa? So.. Anyone out there that wants some new fresh blood in your club? Or just have some general tips? Drop a line here or PM me.. Best Regards Erik Sundström, Sweden ps. i am a nice guy
