Gran canaria

Any info on Gran Canaria as a freedive spot. Am heading their next week with the family so won,t have a load of time tried a search and found dave king but he may be away at present. Just wondering if there is any where there i should definatly go to while i,m there. will be doing a few scuba dives anyway and they may have some info at the centre. any thoughts ?
