Foxfish Umm well there are a lot of stories behind those pictures….but I will tell you some. azapa all those catch where at the open water I will tell you about this amberjack: The water depth was 50-60 meters (I don’t remember exactly but it was deep) and we were hanging four flashers in the water at 15 meters and we were diving close to the flasher and wait for the fish to come from the bottom. Suddenly this amber came from the dark to check us out and the poor guy got a spear on his head. It was so tasty ![]()

You guys are luck you get to eat those amber jacks, We call them Kahala here and Ive always heard they are good to eat but the ones in Hawaii have ciguatera poisoning and lots of worms so we never shoot them. Ive had a pair of 50+pounters swim right up to me. I could have head-butted them if I wanted to!
