last sun. we took a couple extra gas cans and took my boat to two wrecks, some shallow reef diving in the gulf, we ended up at ellis rock, then over by cosgove lighthouse, in the marquesas, and just let the boat drift, while the three of us hunted ledges and coral heads, current was light , wind was 4 to 6 knots, one small storm in the morning, then sunny all day. we got some good stuff, hogs and a nice mutton, three blacks and a fat red. beautiful day to be in the keys!

12 inches is legal, i didnt shoot that one myself, but i never throw a dead legal hog back, even if it is 12.000000000000001 inches. i shoulda put something in the pic for perspective. it does look tiny, but i assure you it was legal. the other ones in the pic were decent, but in the pic, they look barely legal too, even though they were 16 to 18in at least. my bad.
