External display for an UW video cam

My brother is looking for an external display for his Sony digi Super8 video camera. He has a transparent acrylic (?) UW case, and he would like to put inside a bigger external display, because he cannot use the built-in one (it cannot be unfold inside the case, if I understood well). There is room enough in the case for an external display (assuming it is not too huge or too thick), but so far he did not manage to find any such thing in local stores. I tried briefly helping him by looking up the Internet, but am getting too many irrelevant hits in search engines. If anyone could point me to the right direction, I'd be thankful
