Which Underwater Video Camera?

I'm looking to get a Underwater Video Camera- Just wondering if anyone could suggest any. What's the best? and Which housing units? Thanks for your input!

I would suggest checking out housings first and then look for the camera. Manufacturers don't make housings to fit all cameras so you have to go about it back wards.

There are a bunch of different manufacturers for housings and they vary, widely, in price. Here's a place to get started: digideep.com :: list of all underwater housings suitable for digital photography and videography...

Good thinking Jon! That would suck to buy a camera then not be able to find a Housing I've found lots of Housing but there are lots to choose from. It's not so much as WHICH camera to get but what kind : HDD, HDR, DVD, miniDV, VHS? BETA?.. and so on.

Ok- I've been looking HARD - I think I might be going with a JVC GZ-HD7 with a Ikelite housing. Good? Bad? Ugly?
