I am planning to get a diving computer to improve my free diving. I am beginner free diver most my pb is ~ 60ft. I need to improve my breathing skills and also beat the fear of depth
. I am considering getting a wrist watch that will monitor depth. I found I could get one of these 3 watches around $300 (geo/manta maybe <$300)suunto mosquito mares nemo oceanic geo From the reviews here I understand people complain about suunto getting scratched easily and nemo does not have good dive log. Oceanic geo asks for extra for pc download cable. Do you know if others require special cables for download too? I dont want to pay $100 more for PC cable and software Thanks |

These Computers are all delievered without cables for download - thatīs the way they earn a bit more money
![]() Iīve got the nemo (be carefull - only the exel and apnea from the latest collection are usable for freediving) and Iīm really happy with this one - for me it has the best programm for freediving available. I read all the manuals before deciding for one of these - I think thatīs not a bad advice as you really know what the computer can / canīt do upfront.

Freedive Computer
I ordered the Oceanic Geo. $300 - 10% - $50GC + free S&H = killer deal. I have been using Oceanic products for many years and this is in my price range. I may purchase the cable later. Oceanic Geo Nitrox Dive Computer, Dive Watches, Oceanic, Oceanic Geo Nitrox Dive Computer |
