20 Fathoms Edge Bi Fins (anyone used them)

Has anyone had any experience with these fins.

I have been using a pair of #3 stiffness Matrix fins for the last 4 years for beach diving and general spearfishing around the coast of New Zealand.

These fins have proved to be virtually indestructable (barring the side rails which I have just replaced). They have beed used for 5 hour coastal swims in sloppy conditions and batterred inclose diving for crayfish and paua (abalone).

The only drawback for me with the Matrix is the lack of angle under the foot for long serface swimming.

I cannot speak highly enough of the durability of the Matrix Fin and in likelyhood stick with what I know and purchase the Edge fin, It would be nice to hear anyone else's feedback on this particular fin.

If you like the Matrix then you will love the Edge fin with the angle. What kind of footpockets do you have them in?

Hi CWW180,

Do you own a pair of Edge Fins???? My Matrix fins are in sporasub foot pockets. They are not my preference ( i find the Ezclapez pockets more comfortable).

Kjflyfish I am in Whangarei, do most of my spearfishing at the hen and chicks. The weather hasnt been to bad up here and I got an 11 kg Snapper two weeks ago.

Steve

I have used them in Picasso footpockets before and they were nice! I about ready to buy a pair but I prefer Beuchat footpockets.
