I've been told that I look very white after a CO2 static training.
Even my lips! What could be the cause of this? The training scheme involves 30 statics with just one breath in between, finished by a max attempt. I was one time feeling cold, the other time not (because of a suit). Job |

30 statics?
How long were they? |

not surprised you look a little pale after 30 statics! I think I'd look dead!

Wow! What a training scheme! If I did 30 statics with one breath in between, followed by a max attempt, I think most of the colour would have gone from my face!
![]() I started a thread on looking pale after statics, and there were some interesting replies. http://forums.deeperblue.net/forum104/thread64374.html I go very pale after static training. Lucia

This CO2 tolerance scheme is as follows:
2min static 10 times 50 sec static 10 times 60 sec static 10 times 70 sec static 1 max attempt static All these statics in direct consequence with only one breath in between. The resulting max attempt was 4 min the first week (with suit), the other week 2 1/2 mins (without suit, feeling cold). My personal best is more than 5 mins. So what would be the cause of my paleness? Job |

That's a lot! 4min after all that...
I think my buddy would have to carry me home if I attempted something like that. You must have very high CO2 tolerance! There are some ideas about the cause of paleness in the thread which I gave a link to. Lucia

I just read the linked thread: very interesting!
I guess I shouldn't be too worried. I also never get real contractions, although I can struggle with movement. Next time I'll take a small plastic mirror with me, so I can see for myself how I look! Job |
