Which freedive computer??

Hello!
I'm new in this forum, I'm writing from Italy (Mantova) and it's a pleasure to be here!
I'll already ask something...
Firstly I'm a freediver for passion, but I'm a recreational scubadiver too. I'd like to buy a dive computer good for this two needs and I'm knowing this models: Suunto Mosquito, D4, Stinger and D6; Mares Nemo Excel and Titanium; Cressi Edy 2.
I know the price differences... Could anybody suggest something to me about these models?

Thank you very much from now!!

I have the mosquito, I use for freediving and scuba. It does everything I need and more, I couldn't be happier.

Re: Which freedive computer??

I recommend using the search function above in the menu - on DB, there are many threads discussing individual models and their weak points. Unfortunately each of the models have some. At plastic models like D3 and Mosquito it is their reliability and life-span, ad D4/D6 it is the necessity to send the watch to the manufacturer for each battery exchange, at other models there may be some important functions missing (i.e. depth or periodic time alarms), etc. There is also the Liquivision X1 made for freedivers by a freediver (Eric Fattah), who managed to bypass most of the disadvantages of other watches, but unfortunately the price is rather high and due to lapse of sales among freedivers, Liquivision now concentrates more on tech divers.
