Hi folks, is there any type of shut of valve available for the second stage of scuba regulators? I mean for example if the second stage blows off, one could shut the valve and use the spare one.
I had a not so nice experience today while diving, my spare second stage got stuck due to some sand on the button so it blowed off and I had to go to the surface immediately cause the bottle lost pressure realy fast... I was able to get up normal but it was an experience I don´t want to have a second time... I use a apeks atx20 as a spare second stage and atx200 as main second stage. Thanks for any comments!
