Lodge General Manager - Northern Mozambique

Description:
Lodge General Manager (couples considered) needed for Guludo Beach Lodge to manage all aspects of an 18 bed, eco, exclusive, remote lodge in Northern Mozambique (recently declared one of the top 20 deserted beaches in the world). The lodge has a very strong focus on diving, offering PADI courses. The successful candidate would not only be responsible for the operation of the dive center but also all other aspects of the daily management of the exclusive lodge.

Must demonstrate:
- Experience in lodge/hotel management
- A passion for eco/fair trade tourism
- Excellence in hospitality training
- Patience with working and training staff from rural communities

Skills/Requirements:
- Academic qualifications in hospitality/hotel management
- Minimum 3 years management experience
- Basic Portuguese or fluent Spanish with a commitment to learn Portuguese
- Work experience in a developing country

Those beaches in Moz must be seen to be believed. Even from the air they're amazing and there is absolutely no one on them for miles. You could brag about going skinny dipping and there'd be no one to brag to!
