Hi.
Contact them. Most of them spearfish, but they also train for depth. Let me know if you have any more questions or can not get hold of them.

Palinuro,

I will be moving from Wisconsin to Washington in the near future...I hope to live on Vashon Island. We'll have to get together...you could show me around a bit.

Re: seattle freedivers

hey sounds good,I am new to the area too. I have been talking with people that I work with about areas with clear water from what they say their are lakes in the mountains around here that are very clear.only problem is the temp. Myself I'm not up on cold temp gear so I need to look into that. I will take cold and clear over warm and dark any day.

So if you want to scope out a few locations when the snow melts that would be great.

Re: seattle freedivers

yeah i will look into it some too. i know in fresh water we can only shoot carp so if you can find some lakes with lots of carp that would be awesome. i dont know where you are at but i know lake tapps has tons of carp. we have caught them in there with fishing rods and i have shot 2 with a bow.

Re: seattle freedivers

Would love to get into a carp shoot or two this summer. Keep me in the loop. I will be in the area late March, but will be concentrating much of my time house shopping.

So, WA does not allow panfish via speargun? I need to learn a new set of regs.

Re: seattle freedivers

Mav,

Sounds good, however, I will be hunting for a home with most of my spare time...not sure how much diving I'm going to get in before that is all wrapped up.

Have you (Or anyone else) ever dove off Vashon Island? If yes, let me know where the best locations are.

Keep in touch.
