Anyone experienced or interested in getting into freediving in NS? I'm on the South Shore, but I would be willing to travel as far as Halifax or anywhere South of Kentville. Yarmouth, Shelburne, Digby, etc . . .

Thanks, man! I've never been freediving, but I've been reading a lot about it online for over a year. It's kind of weird, but when I was a kid I used to hold my breath all the time, especialy under water, just relax and let go. I was amazed that I could hold my breath for what seemed like ever when I was laying in bed at night, or when I was in the tub under water . . . but I'd never heard anything about free diving or apnea. Can't wait.

Welcome bro, it's great sport, and spearfishing's cool too if you like hunting at all. Hopefully you can get a buddy or two. Quebec has adecent organisation- not sure about your Atlantic area .
