I recently dismantled my mini mini sten.. and would like to replace the oil with a synthetic.. does anyone know how much oil goes into this thing? and does it just go into the outter tube and from there get everywhere else it needs to be? seemed like there was oil, oil, everywhere when I took it apart.

20 ccm of SAE 5 or 10 synthetic fork oil will do. On reassembly these are the three last steps: You fill in the oil in the inner chamber, insert the piston, and install the muzzle. Of course, the oil will disperse.

This shows the oil being added into the outer barrel.. and has other good video of dissasembly and assembly. Now I just have to make one of those pressure test gauges and I'll be good to go.
