thanks Ron, Just got in from the bay - The fish are all out in deeper water now so it's a long swim and COLD!! Mid-low forties with spectacular visibility.

OK., my Omer T-20, my Wong and even my Rob ALLEN 130 doesn't have the spring at their line release............but never had to move it with my hand in order to load the gun...........maybe is the way I use to load it, pointing it down or something.
Any way......Wong, Rob Allen and Omer are very good guns, I have landed a lot of fish and no big problems. |

The Omers have a fancy Italian lever-thingy. It loads up the line release when you put the shaft in.

I was told just yesterday that Riffe had quit using the return spring in the line release.
