Re: static

Have a visit to Trux's website. He has an apnea training manager, among every other bit of information you could possibly need to improve your freediving knowledge. The guy is like a freakin genius, he knows just about everything

Re: static

He he, no genius, I just collection documents, links, media, and information, and systematically organize them then. However, the best starting point for a beginner is this thread: http://forums.deeperblue.net/beginne...reediving.html Every newbie will find everything needed to get started there. As for O2/CO2 tables - you need to pass a test in freediving theory to use the advanced one at APNEA.cz - Apnea Training Manager, but there are many other simpler applications available online: tables @ APNEA.cz Though, I'd advise reading first little bit about risks and dangers, or taking a course before starting anyway, to avoid learning wrong or dangerous techniques.

Re: static

Don't be discouraged, most of us started in those numbers. Reaching 2 minutes was a real milestone and 3 almost unbelievable for me at the time.

Just keep at it and keep safe - gradually the experience cumulates and the results get better.

Re: static

About a minute, forty two seconds...

Seriously, I wouldn't get too worried about the time, or outcome just yet.

Ease yourself gently into each breath hold. Concentrate on achieving full, deep relaxation of every muscle group during the static, allow your thoughts to slow right down and enjoy the sensation of being held by the water.

The improvements will come naturally.
