There is already a thread dedicated to freediving ban, but it apparently focuses to the US case which is as far as I understood a hot spot...
As a French freediver, I feel that this question is THE most important one for those freedivers who live far from the sea. The characteristic of my country is that everything is regulated in all areas... In France there are differences from one region to another... In Paris apnea is theoretically forbidden everywhere in hours open to the public. In Grenoble (French Alps) I heard that you are authorized to do apnea provided you have a buddy... In Finland, there seems to be a good acceptance of freedivers in swimming pools... |
