Bad suit

I just recently purchased a 2 piece 7mm wetsuit off ebay, but to my dismay the chest area is too small. Is there a way i can counter this, i read the threads on cutting a suit to make it fit better but my suit has a felt lining on the inside, is there a way to make my suit work, or do i need to send it back?

Re: Bad suit

2 peice 7mm??

not a freediving suit I'd imagine? you could send it back, or find a custom shop to alter it for you. never heard of a felt lining before......

Re: Bad suit

Maybe somebody could put gussets into some seams for you?

Might be cheaper, simpler & better to resell it on ebay (or locally) & buy another. Try http://www.eliossub.com/ -- for a custom fit at reasonable prices. If the pants are good, you could keep the trousers/pants & just order a jacket -- although probably better to get a complete suit. If you keep it simple e.g. just get a 5mm econo rubber spearo suit with high waist pants and built in hood & loading pad -- you'll might be pleasantly surprised.
[There are other suit makers, esp. in Italy & in the US...Elios, like Omer, seem to have managed to keep a happy, loyal, spearo customer base].

Re: Bad suit

My suit is a farmer john trouser type with a jacket, it is a free diving suit, or at least thats what the tag says. Its a cold water suit, and im not sure if its felt lined, but its some sort of nice soft warm material.
